Starting a Veggie Patch

Being one of the newest housing lots in Melbourne, we don't have a huge backyard space like the older neighborhoods. But we do have enough space and enthusiasm to start a veggie garden.

We have around thirty six square metres of land behind the house in an L shape, and around twenty six square metres of land in front of the house. We have laid Sir Walter Buffalo lawn in both these areas, after reserving some space for raised garden beds on the back. On the front side, we have left the outer border for planting some decorative/flowering shrubs.
